Summery: In the first part of this novel, actors introduce main characters including Karana lives with her brother Ramo in an island faraway and she is the main character . The next character is Aleuts who is Captain of the ship. They introduce many other characters including Karana's father. Karana lives in Ghalas-at. People of Ghalas-at supply their food by fishing and farming. One day a red ship arrived into island. Then Aleuts compeled natives for hunting sea otters in return at other things. Aleuts tried to leave island without paying anything. When Karana's father decided to stand against Aleuts, they began to destroy island by leaving the island and paying only a little for the sea otters. In the second part of the story the new Chief Kimki leaves the island for helps and brings back the people to island. Although Karana urges the captain to wait for her brother Ramo to return, the ship must leave before an approaching storm makes it impossible to leave. Karana decides to swim into the beach and Karana with her brother stay alone for a while in the island because they hope ship return. Then Ramo is killed by many dogs that fight with Aleuts. Karana must continue her life like Primitives. She does not feel lonely with dolphins. She builds home and makes a life for herself. She decides to hunt the octopus. In the third part, after a long time, Karana and the young Aleut woman meet and befriend each other. Karana explain herself. One day, Karana sees a ship which leaves. Finally, after two years, when ship of Aleuts comes back, so she goes to meet the ship and they have a dress made for her but she does not like the dress. Finaly The ship takes Karana and her friend to the Santa Barbara.

Summery: In the first part of story actors are introduced Lord Henry, Basil and Dorian Gray. Gray was very beautiful and young man and this story about a portrait of him. Basil is an artist and he drew the portrait of Dorian Gray and Henry didn’t know whom picture was it. Basil didn’t want show the portrait to others. One day Basil said to Henry ‘This is the picture of Dorian Gray. I love him but he is terrible’. Dorian grows older but his picture remains young. In the second part Henry and Basil met each other. Then Henry interested with Gray. They talked for a long time to each other about many things and go together to theater. In the third part Gray married but very soon he hate of his wife and divorced. When he decided to not saw and think about her, he lends his wife killed herself. Then he saw his portrait again and portrait changed devilment. In the last parts, after a long time, Basil saw Dorian and exhibited his interest to him. Nevertheless Dorian wasn’t happy from again meeting to Basil. Dorian began to hurt who love him and he showed portrait to him. Then he pains cause death of his friend. Finally Dorian knife his portrait and his body founded when a knife in his heart.
